Our Story
My creative journey began in the early 2000s in the Philippines, crafting parols, door wreaths, holiday garlands, and coconut shell necklace pendants — creations whose profits I donated to youth fellowship. Every piece was a labor of love, teaching me the joy of bringing something unique and meaningful to life.
In 2022, I designed custom tote bags for a housewarming, featuring the line structure of my home in Nutley. Friends and family encouraged me to turn my passion into a business. That first design — the Toteful Bag — marked the beginning of making “imagination unleashed” a reality in every creation.
With the support of my husband, a USMC veteran, and his fellow veterans across the U.S., Hiraya Custom has grown to reach people who value personalized, high-quality creations.
Hiraya Custom LLC was founded to transform ideas into reality. The word Hiraya, an ancient Tagalog term, means “the fruit of one’s hopes, dreams, and imagination.” Every creation — from handcrafted coconut shell pendants to personalized home décor and Toteful Bags — is designed to bring your ideas to life and celebrate individuality.

HIRAYA CUSTOM HANDCRAFTS PERSONALIZED GIFTS AND EVENT MATERIALS THAT RESTORE THE TRUE MEANING OF GIFT-GIVING. WE DONATE A PORTION OF OUR PROCEEDS TO NONPROFIT PARTNERS SUPPORTING FAMILIES AFFECTED BY CANCER AND CHILDREN IN ORPHANAGES. WE ALSO PROVIDE MEANINGFUL JOB OPPORTUNITIES FOR MAKERS WHO LOVE TO CREATE, HELPING COMMUNITIES THRIVE THROUGH PURPOSEFUL CRAFTSMANSHIP.
